Rebirthing

is a self-help method learned under the guidance of a trained professional Rebirther. The Rebirthing process uses a simple, defined circular breathing technique to enable the individual to achieve a finer awareness of mind, body and emotions, and to bring himself fully into the present moment. In this state, the individual can experience an expanded, magnified sensibility of previously submerged feelings and sensations. The significance of the use of the breath in this process lies in its profound connection to thoughts, feelings, and memories. Re-experiencing the birth trauma often occurs during Rebirthing because it is believed that our resistance, negativity, and feelings of rejection carried into adult life have their origins in the birth process. Rebirthing allows one to fully surrender to oneself so that a natural, smooth restructuring may occur, leading to an overall sense of acceptance, renewal and gratitude for life.
