Breathwork

in its simplest form uses consciously directed breathing techniques for physical, mental, or spiritual health. For example, calm, methodical breathing is used for relaxation, and forceful breathing for emotional release. Many forms of Breath Work currently practiced include Rebirthing, Holotropic Breathing, Essential Breathing, Middledorf, Vivation and Optimal Breathing.
