Alexander Technique

Teaches how to improve body coordination, and functioning by inhibiting the habitually inefficient movements that create distortions in physical motion. The technique focuses on naturally lengthening the spine upward and freeing restrictions in the neck and head. The results include a feeling, in the head, of freedom to float forward and upward, and a lengthening and widening of the back. The Alexander Technique, popular with performing artists, has proven effective when applied to stress-related conditions such as high blood pressure, digestion problems, anxiety, Depression, arthritis, back pain, slipped discs, and rheumatism.
